About 1.5 hours each way via the A8/A7 motorway and the Učka Tunnel into Kvarner Bay. For dinner trips we recommend leaving Poreč by 17:30 and arranging a return pickup at a confirmed time post-dinner. Many guests combine Opatija with Rijeka (15 min east) for a half-day Kvarner Bay loop.
