Who we are

This website (istrataxi.com) is operated by Taxi Poreč / Istra Taxi, a private taxi service based in Poreč, Istarska županija 52440, Croatia. You can reach us at info@istrataxi.com or +385 97 7777 860.

What data we collect

• Booking and contact information — when you submit our quote form, send a WhatsApp/Viber message, or email us, we receive the name, phone, email, dates, route details, and any notes you provide. We use this only to respond and provide the requested transfer.
• Anonymous website analytics — we use Koko Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool on our own server. Aggregated page-view counts and referrers; no individual tracking, no IP storage.
• Google Ads measurement (only with your consent) — if you accept marketing cookies, we load gtag.js for conversion measurement. You can decline this in cookie settings at any time.
• Cookies — strictly-necessary cookies always load (consent record, language, cache). Marketing cookies only load when accepted.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not store your booking conversation longer than necessary to deliver service and meet legal record-keeping obligations.
• We do not use facial recognition, location tracking, or automated decision-making.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Croatian Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your data
• Restrict or object to our processing of your data
• Receive your data in a portable format
• File a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP)

Data retention

Booking-related data is retained for the duration legally required to satisfy invoicing and accounting obligations under Croatian law (typically 11 years for invoices). Quote enquiries that did not result in a booking are deleted within 12 months.

If we update this policy we will publish the new version on this page. Changes are effective from the moment they are published.
