About 2.5 hours each way. Driver waits during the ~90-minute cave tour. Pre-book timed tickets in summer (entry slots are time-stamped and sell out). Bring a jacket — the cave is a constant 8–10°C year-round. If you are continuing to Ljubljana, Postojna is a natural stop on the way.
